Pregnancy hormones got you feeling down? Bored? Disconnected? Depressed? Lonely? I like to call all these feelings simply feeling “stuck”. I define my emotions so much differently than I used to, but I think depressed, bored, and down would be words I would have described this feeling in the past. In today’s pregnancy JSJ guided meditation, I use the self-care JSJ hold for the 10 flow which helps bring movement into the body as well as help us feel a sense of abundance within. This flow helps us breathe easier and feel a sense of joy, peace, and connection within ourselves and our lives surrounding us. I start the episode by helping you figure out where to place your hands, guide you in white light, warming visualization to help calm your nervous system, and then move into emotional freedom techniques to help you shift these stuck emotions into more positive and helpful ones. I end with practicing connecting to our growing baby and sending them positive feelings, thoughts, and love. I love this particular self-care hold because it’s easy to practice almost anywhere if you have free hands–like when watching a movie, riding in a car, etc… Shift your depressing and “stuck” feelings into feelings of joy and connection.
